Getting Around
Once in the resort, it’s easy to explore on foot. You can even walk to Palma Nova if you fancy a change of scene. There are good bus services and taxis available. Taxis are around 20-30 euros to the airport. Bike hire is also available and a nice way to see the coast.
Party On
If you're planning on partying hard, Magaluf boasts an extensive range of lively bars and clubs. Let your hair down in the neon-lit Punta Ballena strip, bustling with karaoke bars, pubs and clubs including international DJ hub BCM, Carwash, Banana Disco and more. Shopping in Palma
If shopping is on your agenda, Palma is a must for your holiday. For those that have a healthy budget, Avinguda Jaume III and the Passeig des Born are home to some brilliant upmarket boutiques, while the pedestrian street of Placa Major has plenty of specialist shops. The city's main shopping mall and hypermarket complex, Centro Comercial Porto Pi, is just 2km from the centre and houses international brands including Calvin Klein, Mango and Zara Home, but if you fancy going further afield, Festival Park is a large shopping mall just north of Palma and is accessible by train or metro.
Activities
Hop aboard a catamaran Booze Cruise and take a tour around the island while enjoying a well-stocked bar. These popular boat parties are great fun and a perfect way to meet like-minded partygoers while listening to onboard DJs blast out some clubbing favourites – don’t go overboard on the drink if you want to go overboard for a swim though! For a day filled with summer anthems, pool games and plenty of drinks head to a Sotavento Pool Party or if you're travelling with children, enjoy an afternoon of adventure at Aqualand, Europe's biggest waterpark.
Magaluf Beaches
Whether you’re nursing a hangover or want to soak up the sun on one of Majorca’s best beaches, Magaluf’s 900m stretch of glittering white sand is a perfect place to relax and reboot. When you’ve recovered, watersports await, and the shallow sea is great for kids to paddle in too.
